Originally a misspelling of 'prototype,' Protototype is the only song of mine broadcast over foreign airwaves (AFAIK). A coworker (@ Aviano Air Base) and part time DJ for an FM station in Pordenone, Italy aired the tune as he, I, and other friends downed some B-52s (chocolate-ish mixed drink IIRC). Ca 1994 or 1995. First 'serious' song recorded w/my Tascam 488 (Ernie Gross being the actual first); the tune came into being in late 1991 or early 92.
